A secure outdoor area with views of the Vosges: Outside, you can enjoy a garden equipped with a table, chairs and a barbecue, ideal for al fresco dining. In 2025, I opened my guesthouse in Petit Himbaumont, in the hills above Moyenmoutier. After walking the entire Way of St James following my wife’s death, I discovered the joy of meeting people and welcoming guests at guesthouses. This experience had a profound effect on me and inspired me to create a warm and welcoming place of my own, where I could host travellers in a friendly and authentic atmosphere. So I designed a charming gîte that can accommodate up to four people. You’ll find two comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and a furnished terrace offering a magnificent view of the Haute Pierre and the town of Moyenmoutier. With its timber-panelled décor and cosy atmosphere, this little haven of peace is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, enjoy nature and discover the treasures of the Vosges.
